This study explores the use of plant-based phytocompounds to inhibit the 50S ribosomal protein of Nocardia brasiliensis, a key mycetoma pathogen. Utilizing in silico screening, Parviflorone F emerged as a promising inhibitor, enhancing protein stability and suggesting potential therapeutic application. Further in vitro and in vivo validation is required to confirm its efficacy for mycetoma treatment.

Green synthesis of bimetallic nanoparticles (BMNPs) involves creating metal composite particles with unique properties, here using cow urine-based herbal extract to reduce Cu and Fe salts. This study reveals Cu-Fe BMNPs inhibit Fusarium solani (51.11%) and Aspergillus niger (15.56%), enhancing Vigna radiata growth, suggesting potential for improved agricultural resilience and productivity.
