Green Synthesis of Hydrazone‐Linked 1,2,3‐Triazole‐coumarin Hybrids via Ultrasound: In Vitro and In Silico DNA Gyrase Inhibition Studies

Coumarin and triazole are chemical structures known for their medical potential. This study synthesized new coumarin-triazole hydrazone hybrids using ultrasound, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Promising antimicrobial activity, especially against bacteria, was observed. Notably, the compounds effectively inhibited DNA gyrase, suggesting their promise as future antimicrobial agents.

In our search for biologically potent fungi, Leiotulus aureus, traditionally used medicinally in Türkiye, reveals promising antimicrobial properties. Utilizing SEM, FTIR, and GC-MS/MS, the study identifies abundant bioactives such as cyclohexene. Ethanol extracts excelled, inhibiting Candida albicans and Yersinia enterocolitica, underscoring its pharmaceutical potential.

The study presents self-assembled d10-metal complexes of a bis-pyrazolo-s-triazine pincer ligand. Notably, these complexes exhibit significant anticancer effects against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines and strong antifungal activity, outperforming ketoconazole against Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. These findings highlight their potential as therapeutic agents.

The findings highlight AgNPs' promise in pharmaceutical applications due to their safety and enhanced therapeutic potential.
