Rutu H. Patel, Helina Patel

In an insightful study, Trichoderma sp. HR27 and Ganoderma sp. HR31 form a fungal consortium to enhance lignocellulolytic enzyme production via optimized solid-state fermentation. Utilizing wheat straw, this process boosts endoglucanase and laccase yields substantially, achieving 31.7% delignification and improving cellulose exposure, positioning it as a promising approach for agro-waste valorization.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and ectomycorrhizal fungi (EMF) form symbiotic plant relationships, vital in mountain ecosystems. Research in Wuyi Mountain reveals AMF thrives at mid-altitudes, EMF at low altitudes. Stochastic processes guide community assembly, while soil properties drive ecosystem multifunctionality, emphasizing their roles in ecological adaptation and conservation.

The study involves molecular modeling and docking of cloned pectin lyases, enzymes catalyzing the breakdown of pectin, from Fusarium species. Four PNL genes were amplified from Fusarium proliferatum and Fusarium fujikuroi. Bioinformatics tools were employed to evaluate the physico-chemical and structural attributes, providing insights into their functional properties and potential applications in industrial bioprocesses.
